Just One Step Away From Plugging Ears & Humming

President G. W. Bush heard from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He heard from the National Security Agency & the National Security Council. He heard from the leaders of both parties in the House and the Senate. He heard from the American people.

Then he made a little speechy-speech... in which he outlined a plan... that ignores everything everyone told him.

I disagree with people who characterize this action as that of a man with conviction.

This is the action of man who doesn't know when to let go.

Apple Deilvers the Newton...

...as it was meant to be.

About a decade later, Apple Computer Inc. delivers a super-smart phone that not only allows you to make calls, but, well, the damn thing is a computer. It's tiny, it's pretty, it has touch capability and handwriting recognition, it allows you to surf the real Internet, it manages data, it takes pictures, it plays music, it raises your sense of self worth. It's everything Apple wanted the Newton to be and then some.

Hey, it only took two tries to get it right. Sure, there was a sizable time gap between the two versions, but still...

Anywho, the device is cool, but way overpriced. Alpha Buyers will rush to get it, but as an experienced Apple Consumer whore, I'll be waiting until the kinks are all ironed out and the price drops.

Now the AppleTV device... there's something I'm tempted to pre-order.

The Next One.

It's not just "next year", but also...

It's the next in my music video series for the Lord of Rings movies.

Yes, nearly a year later, I've finally completed the second video. This time out, it's an homage to the movement within the movie "The Two Towers" set to Pink Floyd's "Run Like Hell."

You should go check it out.

More later.
