Care to Help?

Yeah, it's Friday the 13th, but so what?

I'm posting today to ask you to help.

In one week, I'm flying out to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to participate in the annual MS Walk. Why am I flying all the way across the country to take part in their walk, when there are several local walks? Here's why.

Some folks confuse MS with MD... Multiple Sclerosis versus Muscular Dystrophy. They're both devastating, but to quote from David Lander's (aka: Squiggy) book, Fall Down Laughing:
In 1978, I agreed to make a celebrity appearance for a multiple sclerosis fund-raiser in upstate New York. Knowing next to nothing about the disease, I asked the telethon director, "Why would anyone give money to MS if they already gave to Jerry's kids?" The reply was: "Anybody can get this one. People are born with muscular dystrophy, but anyone can wake up with multiple sclerosis."

So, please contribute to the cause. You might not know anyone struggling with MS today, but that could change tomorrow. Please help so we can stamp out MS now... before it impacts someone you care for.
